I agree that nobody should be made to wear anything, especially when it damages their health (vitamin D deficiency, depression). Why women agree to wear such clothing baffles me and the men who force women to do such things should be jailed.

Muslim women must learn that while they may not have any rights back home, they do in Europe. If muslim men can’t get used to the idea maybe they should just move back to where they came from and stop shoving their primitive beliefs and culture down everyone’s throat. Nobody is forcing them to move out of their native country and they certainly can’t ask to live by the same rules they did there.

I’m sorry that some of the Arab countries got stuck in the middle ages because of their decline after America was discovered, but it’s high time they grew up some and we have the duty to remind them of that!

Sir David Attenborough and Ida

Visitors at the Natural History Museum in London may now see a cast of Ida (Darwinius masillae), a 47 million year fossil scientists believe is the link between primates and the rest of the mammals.

The cast was donated by the University of Oslo Natural History Museum. The original Ida was also at the NHM for a few hours last month where scientists had a look at the most complete ancient primate skeleton ever found.

Adding to the list of high profile Twitter targets hit by crackers is now Church of Latter Day Saints (@LDSChurchNews). Intruders microblogged that the inventor of their imaginary friend, Joseph Smith, was a liar (which he is). The account was taken down and it is yet unknown if it will ever come up again or if anyone will really miss it (I sure won’t).

As per my previous article about Ida, the 47 million years old fossil found in Germany, I am currently writing an article about the significance of the findings. Until that is ready for publishing I invite you to view Uncovering Our Earliest Ancestor , the documentary which aired on The BBC, narrated by David Attenborough, a few days ago and which tells the story of Ida and the scientists working to uncover her mistery.
